Description
This emerald is an amazing top vivid green emerald from Zambia. The color resembles top green emerald from Colombia. It has been treated with ‘minor’ oil (GIA – F1 grade) and the origin is from Zambia.
The emerald has been certified by world renown GIA (Gemological Institute of America) as ‘F1 (Minor Clarity Enhancement)’. This means the stone has been subject to minor oil treatment which is normal for 99% of emeralds in the market.
We also did request GIA to determine the origin but they were not confident about it and therefore concluded that they cannot determine where the emerald is from base on their database.
We are however confident the stone is from Zambia as the supplier we bought it from exclusively deals with this origin.
