Thai Native Gems was founded by my grandfather, Mr. L.N. Gupta, a charismatic pioneer in the trade who entered Thailand in the 1950’s and established wholesale gemstone trading business. The company was considered the “undisputed source provider” to most gem dealers for 20 years as his global partners controlled majority of gemstone sources & rough mines.
From then to now, the company has progressed with its reputation, knowledge and contacts in the industry and emerged as a frontrunner in providing transparent education and fair price.
Today’s consumers like yourself, like to look before they leap and believe in understanding what they are getting and at what price. I believe the best way to tackle this is by going online and sharing my knowledge and our company’s experience, which I have been doing in Bangkok for the last ten years.
Before entering the family business, I decided to learn more about my subject matter – gemstones and diamonds – and went for the GIA Graduate Gemologist Program and earned my degree.
